Helix Info
The original clan Helix was formed a long time ago.
http://www.helix.co.za/index.php?i=28&l=hel
The member's, used to play Unreal Tournament, but as time went on the games changed, but the original members are still here today. The people who where in Helix became a circle of friends. It was the love of gaming that brought us together.
Today no one really plays Unreal Tournament any more. Most play World of Warcraft, and, others a mixture of BattleField 2 and other FPS type games as well as other MMO's e.g. Aion.
Forming a World of Warcraft division was the next natural step in the evolution of Helix.
You will find no real rules on the main Helix site. We are a bunch of friends, who are mature enough to understand what it is to be in a guild.
There where and will always be disputes. It can however be resolved through discussion.
The rules then, for the World of Warcraft Helix division is as follows :
Get along with your fellow guildies. Have respect for them as they will treat you as you treat them. Common courtesy goes a long way.
Being a jerk, up-setting guildies, will not be tolerated. Racism, discrimination, in any form will not be tolerated. You are expected to help out. This can never be enforced.
It is put down here so that you know, no one is an island, and we all need help from time to time. However, what you put into the guild, is what you will get out of it.
The guild has 2 sections. The casual, more family orientated, and, the end game raiding section. No one is forced to raid. When you decide you want to see more of the game, and you have read the raiding rules and meet the raiding requirements, you may then raid (if there is a raiding spot available). If all you want to do is level some alts, you can do that too.
Only adults will be allowed into the guild. The reason for this is the mature language used both in teamspeak and general chat. While this is not abusive, it can be rather 'color full' and not appropriate for kids.
The main rule is to get on with one another. We follow the same circle of friends philosophy from our parent Helix clan.
Above all, enjoy your stay at Helix.
Guild master : Smellyhoe / Taiyla
Co. GM : Shifthappens
Officers: Lilliathin, Dorathas, Drest, TinJin
